    Extreme Birdhouses

    Hi everyone , Here is my latest Extreme Birdhouse .This house is 5 ft x 50" x 36" tall and made from white cedar .
    It has 18 rooms and will be mounted 9 ft in the air on a single post .

    Very nice. It looks move-in ready for when SWMBO is unhappy and I need to be scarce....

    Around here that structure would require a building permit and the inevitable visit from the local tax assessor.

    I really like that ,have always liked to see animals in human habitat . Question,is that made to be for purple martins? Or is the size of it simply part of the whimsy?

    Thanks everyone ! This is one of over 400 houses I have made so far .Some houses are more than twice this size .I make most of them for sparrows and wrens .They stay in them all year round so they don,t have to be cleaned very often . All of the insides are removable to clean them . I have several in my yard and there are birds in everyone of them . Here are a few larger ones in my yard .
