    Can't have too many Bob's

    106 and counting on this forum. I have a feeling that Bob will re-emerge and again take the lead in newborn boy names from the likes of Conner and Chandler. After all, some names are not meant to be 1st names.

    ...Bob (what else?)

    I must disagree. There are two Bob's I know of that should never have been:

    (1) The Microsoft Bob program that was an utter failure about 10 years ago.

    (2) The Bob unit of measurment that we heard about earlier this week.

    But clearly a misuse of the term. According to Webster, Bob is an endearing term used to describe a person (that lets out computer code and units of measurement) of unusual conscience and introspection.

    Bob

    There was a movie a few years ago w Bill Murray called "What about Bob?". With R. Dreyfus ,comedy. AND in "office space" (movie) the 2 consultants were called the "2 Bobs"! Little trivia for ya..
