    What's wrong with using up small pieces of scrap wood to make a ZCI? I did test the diameter as I sanded it and over shot. The fix was painless and easy.

    Why waste a larger piece of lumber to make a ZCI when most of the lumber will be discarded to the scrap bin?

    How many do you need? Why not a fly cutter? They can produce inside cuts or outside cuts just be changing the orientation of the cutter.

    Another choice would be a hole cutter of the proper diameter. This might be a more expensive solution unless you were making lots of them.

    Thanx for the tip. I ended using my CNC machine that I, ironically completely forgot about. LOL!!! Problem solved!
