    wedding present

I wanted to make something nice for a wedding present for my Nephew and his soon to be wife. This is a silver maple vase that is 10" tall. It was turned free hand with Jordan hollowing tools and finished with deft. The bark inclusion made it a little worrisome when I turned to finial thickness which is around 1/8". Thanks, Jack

This is really beautiful. When you say "deft" which of the deft products did you use?

What a piece! Which is better, the skill, shape, finish---no the wood. Great.

Perfect execution and congratulations on "free handing" the hollowing. Far too folks bother learning that skill these days. Philip
