No...but there is a lot of "non-woodworking" things to see and do in Sydney.
About 9 months from now my wife and I plan on visiting there for a couple days.

Woodworking wise can't think of anything. But climb the bridge on a good clear day. Go to Manly and Bondi Beaches - don't forget to bring your budgie smugglers. How long are you there for?

Do a walking tour of "The Rocks" lots of old places there still functioning as shops. hand cut and dressed sandstone, hand hewn timber beams etc and a gost story or two.

Go see an NRL game if you can. It's 26 guys with the bodies of champs and the brains of chimps beating the snot out of each other. Make sure you sit in the cheap seats - that's where the real fun is ;-). And then go see an AFL game. It's a peanuts cartoon come to life. Or at least that's what I see when I went to one. Picture a cloud of dust moving to and fro around a field. Every once in a while a ball pops out, a leg, an arm, a head... complete and utter pandaemonium. And then the ref does a weird dance and the crowd goes nuts...

Maybe a trip to Bungendore about three hours out of Sydney http://bungendorewoodworks.com.au/ This is close to Canberra the nations capital which might be worth wasting half an hour on if you have nothing else to do.
