    Question tung oil question

How long should I wait before applying a finish coat to a project after I have used tung oil on it? And can I use any thing to do that or are there certain finishes that won't hold to it? THANKS!

I found at 72 hours it is safe to apply a final coat if the tung oil is polymerized. If it is pure it takes a couple of weeks to dry. Wax, varnish or polyurethane can go over it.
