Is this enough saw for ya?

I saw this photo of a 36" blade Dewalt radial arm saw and had to share it. The arm is hydraulically controlled. It's actually available on my local craigslist but there are two problems:

    1) It may not work on 110v
    2) It is bigger than my entire shop

    3) The railroad won't deliver telephone poles to your shop.

I'm guessing you might need just a wee bit more than 110v for that little guy

But hey, they didn't put it inside the shop either! All you have to do is put it against the outside wall and built a little overhand for it.....problem solved

Many years ago I worked in a shop with a 24" radial arm saw. I hated running it because after you turned it off, it was still spinning an hour later.

I wonder how it would do on picture frames?

All good comments. I think this would be also be handy for lap jointing doors and mitering frames for freeway signs. I might be on to an untapped niche.

Bill, that was funny, but if you were adding pictures to the face of the Washington Monument...................

I know a guy that is kinda like Tim Allen with tools. He would probably buy that to cut crown molding just in case he ever needed anything bigger.

    LOL
