    NY first Lasered Pumpkin

It's been a busy year, but I put a little time aside yesterday and did my first pumpkin.859835_10151773756462620_404956090_o.jpg1426714_10151773756532620_20057234_n.jpg

Steve....your thumbnail shot at the bottom of the post shows a "bucket o pumpkin" and what looks like a bottle of bleach just to the right? Just curious what that was for? Going for the rare albino pumpkin effect? <grin> Or did it play a role in the engraving process or preservation of the pumpkin? Or perhaps Chloroxed Pepitos are a delicacy in your neck of the woods? <grin>

I've heard that the bleach water soak preserves the pumpkin for a couple of weeks.

Love the look and would love to try it sometime. Did you use a rotary attachment or burn it flat? What kind of settings did you use (if you are willing to share that info)?

    Thanks,

    Mike
