I got the material at Hogan (Paxton) in Austin. All the yards around here have it.

Very nice tables, KC. I'm sure your sister will be very pleased. I don't have any experience with stained oak, but seeing your results have inspired me.

I remember seeing the beginning of those in your workshop cleanup pics. They sure turned out nice. The color is great. I don't like oak either but you sure made it beautiful.

Very nice K. C.! Do a few more like these and I think you will start liking oak, at least QSWO.

    Mesquite looks REAL interesting!!

    Kirk,
Georgeous job!! I'd like to take a crack at Mesquite but I'm sure that it's your talent that makes it look so great! We don't have much Mesquite up here in the north woods. We've got a LOT of mosquitoes, though.

    GREAT TABLES, GUY!!!

I am so busy REMAKING my projects that I don't have time to make them the FIRST time!

  6. Kirk, I love the rich color you were able to achieve. The finish is wonderful. You did a great job!

I have done so much with so little for so long I am now qualified to do anything with nothing......

P.S. If you are interested in plans for any project that I post, just put some money in an envelope and mail it to me and I will keep it.

Wow, Not exactly a perfect match but its not possible with oak anyway. The Color is stunning. I love that color and grain.
