Little Creative with OverUnder Shotgun Pen

Been trying for a while to come up with something unique for an overunder shotgun kit I've had. This is what I came up with. Deer antler (sheds) cap and black walnut body. The walnut body has an engraved checkering pattern to mimic that of a gunstock. C&Cs welcome.

The pen is great and the fine cut checkering is a very nice addition, is it laser cut?

What Dennis said. BTW have you ever visited the IAP. International Association of Penturners(penturners dot org) Your pen would probably go over big there as well.

Dennis, yes the checkering was done on a laser engraver. Had to make several practice runs to get both sides to equal out, but happy with the results.

JD, I think I visited that site a few years back when I first got interested in turning pens. I may have to check it out again, thanks.
