    BOx for a college gal

I made this for a college sorority girl I met when I went back to homecoming at BGSU. She was so gracious and gave me a tour of the sorority house. When I attended school there, men were not allowed upstairs, so I got the see the room my girlfriend lived in almost 50 years ago.

Cherry lid with walnut inlay, some nice figured maple for the box, walnut slip feathers.

Joe, beautiful work. What finish did you use?

When men were gentlemen and women were ladies.

Joe, I'd be happy to give you a tour of my place - I can be pretty gracious .

Very, very nice thank you gift.

Just hope that you get old enough to say that someday!

    Nice work, Joe
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "...Holy Cow....what a ride!"

DANISH Oil and a couple coats of spray on Poly from a can.

Sweet! It's a beautiful box. Great work on the finish and the inlay.
