    A small birthday gift

This was a weekend project. Two service trays for two daughter-in-laws who happened to have birthday in the same month. This project was shown in the latest Woodworking magazine and shamelessly copied.

Very nice Alfred. Elegant design. Are those handles cut out in the curve or bent?

    That is a delightful tray.

Everything about it from function to flair seems appropriate.

Very nice project. Really appealing on a lot of levels; elegant, clean lines, visually attractive and functional. Lucky girls.

Stew, basic tray is maple, handles are cut from a 1.5" square walnut blank. Finish is danish oil.

Well it's very nice Alfred. I love the elegant yet simple design. I'm sure your D-I-L's will love them.

    Nice gift indeed!

Beautiful work. Nice and clean. I am sure they will be very happy with it.
