PART II: Professional Woodworkers & The Affordable Care Act

    http://boss.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/1...ealthcare-gov/

The above link is the second NY Times column written by Paul Downs, a professional cabinetmaker (and Creek member) on his experiences obtaining medical insurance through the new AFA Federal Healthcaare exchange.

I posted his first article on 11/6 with a similar title

I MIS-TYPED THE TITLE. I MEANT PART 2. THANKS JOHN

I see our government has not changed a lot over the years. "Hurry up and Wait!"

So half of us look at that and think, "Part Eleven". The other half are thinking, "Maybe he meant Part Two?". A small handful are thinking, "Part Three? What happened to Part Two?".

    Part 2; not part 11

John, you win. I can't type. I meant Part 2.

I tried editing the title after posting, but apparently that can't be done.

(Moderator Note: Paul, I fixed the thread title for you. )

My brother is an insurance broker for several companies...40 years. He told me that NONE of the policies he sold last year will be available in 2014. He also mentioned a loophole. If you renew SOME policies for 2014 before the end of 2013 they may give people another year. Of course that assumes the insurance company has not cancelled all that type policy.
