Talking Lie-Nielsen and Blue Spruce to merge?

Heard that after a savage report in the press recently, Blue Spruce and Lie-Nielsen are cutting their losses and are merging.

The new company will apparently be called Bruce-Lie.

Oh man. Totally got me. I was all excited about LN offering something larger than 1" chisels with flamed maple handles. Sadly, forum rules prohibit me from calling you what I am thinking right now.

If you want to irritate a FedEx courier, just tell them a similar joke with FedEx and UPS merging and becoming FedUp. I always hated that joke. Every time the person was so sure they were the first person to ever tell you that joke.

Wait...does that mean that they are outsourcing to Hong Kong???
    I am never wrong.

    Well...I thought I was wrong once...but I was mistaken.

Hook, line, and "snicker"? Nothing like niche humor, like Steve Martin's "I said 'sprocket', not 'socket'"!

Funny you mention that. Blue Spruce is making a cylindrical mallet for Lie-Nielsen. It's in their new item section. I have one and it is very nice and a pleasure to use. The head is infused hornbeam.
