A Tilt Top Table

I drew this table during the third half of Car Talk yesterday. It's based on walnut table made in France about 1850.

While you were drawing I was simply sitting and listening. It's my quiet hour each week - even when I must work I take a long coffee break between 10 and 11 on Saturdays to listen to Click & Clack .

Nice table. It's all in the hardware on that one. AND - it would have taken me the 3 halfs and likely another 2 shows to do that drawing (at least).

Nice drawing! Can you upload a render with less shadows or a different 'time of day'? I'm having difficulty seeing the detail beneath the table top.

Sorry the other images were too dark. I wonder if my display is set too bright. I've tried adjusting it but can't really tell. Anyway, here's a lines version.
