Thread: Profiled blade sharpening

Hi Joshua, I usually stop at the 8000 then after working for a little while I hit the leather strop for a quick touch up. This will keep me working and keeps me from going back to the stones for awhile. I have a strop attached to my bench out of the way.

Hi Joshua, I still use waterstones and I usually stop at 8000. When I'm planing I will touch them up at times with a leather strop attached to the bench and this is usually enough to keep going without going back to the stones. I am waiting on my order from Lee Valley that has the micro PSA paper which I am excited to try. Bill
