Being a newbee here I have a couple suggestions

    (1) Did not find a place where you can introduce yourself to the forum.(2) It would be great if you can add a Thank you on your posts. I know I will learn a lot here. Great to be aboard

Welcome Joe. (1) The Off Topic forum could be used for an intro but, the General Woodworking and Power Tools forum gets more visits. (2) If you look under Settings in the upper right corner, you can Edit your Signature to include a 'Thanks', if you like.

    Welcome to the Creek....

You can introduce yourself in the General Woodworking forum, that is where most do it.

You can edit your sig file in your settings and put what you want at the bottom of the post. That is under Forum Actions and Edit Profile at the top and then on the left edit you signature.

Welcome to the Creek. In additon to the other comments, I would suggest putting a location in your profile. It may come in handy when you ask a question; there may be a Creeker nearby.
