    Simple Craft Table

    My wife wanted a craft table. I had a piece of Corian laying around, a redwood 4x4, 2x6s and some SPF 2x4s for the frame. Still a few items to complete. Finish is shellac.CT1.jpgCT2.jpg

    Love it. Taking inexpensive lumber and turning it into something great - looks fantastic.

    Will, she does a lot of photograph and scrap booking. Also crafts with our grand kids.

    Peter, Redwood is not cheap but I was not able to buy a 4x4 for the table legs that wasn't pt. The redwood is quite soft and will get lots of scratches and dents. I figured I needed a finish that could be fixed a bit by a little sanding and another coat or two of shellac - which is not toxic.
