Easier way to show item is SOLD in classifed??

Is there an easier way to show item for sale in classified is SOLD? Currently, the viewer must open up the ad and view the whole thread to get to the last post where it is showing the SOLD status..Thank you..

Due to this problem here I just send the Admins a note and ask that the title be changed once an item of mine has sold. This lets SMC keep its short edit capability window at a small cost in administrative overhead. If there is a better way I too would like to know it since many people don't bother to get their ads updated and the problem Jerry points to persists.

I think I understand the problem but is writing to the admins a solution that the admins encourage?
Suppose you list several items at once? Aren't you then stuck updating the tail end of the thread?
Wish there was a better way also.

Everyone has a 24hr window in which they can edit their post, including the thread title. As a Moderator, I don't mind editing the thread title to "SOLD" after the 24hr window has closed. All I ask is for you to PM me and include a link to your posting.

That said, if someone has 10 items in their ad we should not be expected to edit, for example, that items 1, 3, & 7 have been sold and then two days later that 4, 6, & 9 have sold..

I don't recall ever being able to change the title of my threads... though to be fair, I never really bothered looking.

I do know that mods have more editing options than users, so...

Being able to edit the title would surely help.

Click Edit Post and then click Go Advanced. You should see an option for title edit above the main edit window.
