    Cool Old box

    That at one time was just a pile of old floor boards. Been moved from two houses, since the build. IMAG0004.jpg about three yrs old. Holding up pretty well?

    And yes, that is a coopered lid...

    No stain, just a couple coats of varnish, IIRC...

    Two cuts with a tablesaw, then round the top with a plane. Needed a zero clearence insert to do one of the cuts safely.

    Had to remove a lot of nasty Tongue & Groove stuff. And a nail or two.
