    Shaker Clock

This clock is the project that I'm featuring on my blog lately. The why,how and my thoughts on Shaker Design can be read there. This piece has a custom dial face and the door will have antique glass. The finishing schedule will be daunting to say the least.

I like the yellow knob Ron! Tell us more about the finish schedule.....will milk paint be a part of it?

Jeff the yellow knob is maple with Transtint dye applied. It's the beginning of the finishing schedule. Milk paint will not be a part of this finishing schedule but I think this type of piece would look nice with a well applied milk paint finish.

Beautiful job, Ron! Were any hand tools involved in the build?

Jim this was a mostly hand tool build. I used my bandsaw a bit and I don't presently own a thickness planer so all the pieces were hand planed to thickness.
