Seems sort of interesting, except I wonder what happens when you put a good plane to work?

I just ran into this guy's product last week and am looking for a US distributor. Does anyone know of any?

I would be curious as to what it costs. It has nice features but I don't see at as something that I would want.

It seems like it has more gimmicks than features many woodworkers would utilize. It might be aimed at an industrial usage where several different people performing diverse tasks could use it throughout the work day.

Very clever design and obviously thought out to solve a problem I don't have. For those that would use such a thing and benefit from it it seems pretty well refined.

  8. I think it's the scissor lift, this almost registers more as 'hospital bed' than 'work bench'. The overhead DC/power setup only reinforces this.

It looks like a workbench version of a Shopsmith. I may have to steal a few of those clamping ideas, though.
