    A vase

    I have been a bit quite lately, still busy in fact very busy. This is the latest one of the lathe and carving bench.

    Camphor Laurel 9" tall and 7.5 at it widest, oiled and waiting to be buffed.

  4. Really a unique piece Neil, looking down on the piece it has a really nice pattern and flow.

    I love this vase but would be VERY scared of using a buffing wheel on it.

    Look great. You did a really good job on the spiral as you look down from the top. I'm like Dennis buffing it would be a little tense.
