What George said...I second.
I look forward to what you build.
BTW, Bruce Sexauer swears by Panamanian Rosewood.
Personally, I like good old growth Indian or Brazilian. There's a ton of great woods out there.
Ever try Macacauba?

The guitar building is on hold for a while. Last night I was packing up all my guitar tools and parts and pieces. I didn't realize how much I missed the work. It may be months before we sell this house, buy another and for me to get the new shop set up. I hope not experiencing the therapeutic value of guitar building doesn't leave me in the dumps. Maybe the move will keep me busy.
Julie, don't you still have some kitchen work left?
Hey Mel! I've already got enough whip marks on my back!
But to answer your question, I'm happy to say the kitchen is DONE! But with that brings another problem. Now that it''s done, I want to enjoy it. When I was in WPB a week ago, I looked at a few houses and none had a kitchen even close to what ours is now. And all of the houses were priced around what we're hoping to get for this one. Looks like I'll have enough to keep me busy until the old folks home comes to get me.
It looks like Amazon to me. I'd try to find something closer to quartersawn (vertical grain) for fretboards.
I think Amazon sells for around $40/bf when you can find it.
