    I made 1 and a 1/4 coffee tables....

I made my daughter a coffee table, it is in the finial stages, stained and now getting the finish on. My daughter wanted the table dark and my 6 year old grand daughter wanted to leave it light.

So while the finish was drying on the big table I make a little one for my grand daughter.

The drawers do not open, just could not come up with a good way to make those little drawers.

Yes that is my flip phone, still living in the dark ages.

Great story. Be sure to post pics when you're having afternoon tea with the little one on her special table

Great job, but if a flip phone puts you in the dark ages, where does NO phone put me?

Excellent Bill I was wondering about that 1/4 part.

I was trying to imagine how stable a one legged coffee table would be.....LOL..........Rod.

LOL. Took me a while to figure out the pics. I was thinking, "where's the little one?".

Thanks for the nice comments guys..

It was a fun LITTLE project, now I am just wondering how I could make some drawers that small. I was thinking maybe take a piece of solid wood and just router it out, the corners would not have to be square.

The legs are a little large, after I had them made I thought that I should have made them 1/4" scale, the rest of the table is just about 1/4 scale.

The pulls are just bent 1/8" brass rod, then drilled holes and put them in with some CA glue.

    Bill,
There was a smallest dovetail joint thread in the neanderthal forum a while back. You should do handcut dovetails with toothpicks!
