Can't post paragraphs or "hard" returns, all posts come across as 1 paragraph.

Let's see if this works....When I'm composing a new post or replying, I have something funny happening with the formatting of my posts.If I try to create a new paragraph, or enter a "hard return" to start a new line, the posting gets posted as if I had not created a new paragraph. Apparently, I'm missing something, but can't figure out what I'm doing improperly.Thanks for any advice,Steve. (for example, this post should have included 3 or 4 blank horizontal spaces).
