    just a PIP of the Jack Plane buildIMAG0081.jpghandle and wedge fitted.IMAG0084.jpgand after some carving and an oil finish. Waiting on it to dry, before the final fettles are done

    Only 18" long. The 2" wide iron makes it look a bit longer. Need all that front deck, because both hands sit behind the iron, other than the index fingers. They ride alongside the iron. This acts as a push plane, not a pull one.
