    Hydroponic carbon filters?

Has anyone tried using carbon filters made for hydroponics (for example: https://www.maxgrowshop.com/en/filte...0m3-125mm.html )

I tried a MountainAir filter but because of my setup, I had to place it on the output side of my filtering machine and because of that, the smell was more than noticable. This could work in a sealed case, but mine has air vents that push some of the filtered air into the room. Because the filter had to be placed at the output side, some of the not yet carbon filtered air escaped via these air vents of the fume extractor and thus the smell.

Since these cardbon filters are designed to prevent certain smells coming from certain plants and need to do their job very well, I think that these could work in the laser engraving settings also..
