    New DeWalt tool storage.

Anyone see the new DeWalt tools boxes Home Depot had for fathers day? I got to see one in store and they look and feel well made. I know Stanley manufactures tool boxes just east of Cincinnati but no idea if the Dewalt is made there or not.
$249 for the top, $349 for the bottom.

I saw them in-person and looked at them for a couple minutes, mostly out of curiosity.

    A few observations:

    - The open area on top seems very tall and seems mostly wasted space. I suppose you could use some steps to make stuff in the back more visible. Like many mechanic tool boxes, they are made too tall to be practical. I have a tough time using some of them and I'm 6'2".
    - The paint is a matt-finish bright yellow. Sounds like it will get dirty fast and be tough to clean.
    - Box & drawers looked fairly strong for the price point.
    - Wheels looked a bit light duty.

    Ball Bearing Drawers?

I like the pseudo stainless boxes from Sams Club. I have the 42" top bottom and want the 52" setup they have now.
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.
