    Smile Adria Tenon Saws

Well I just ordered a set of Adria Large Tenon Saws. Both the crosscut and the rip. Now comes the never ending waiting period. So far I have been making do with a semi old (25-35 years) Disston crosscut tenon (carcass?) saw and the Veritas dovetail saw. The Veritas cuts slow but clean (14 TPI). Mainly I use it for dovetails. The Disston is OK, but never was really pleasing to me, though I can't say why. I don't think I will cut any better tenons with the Adrias, but I will have more fun. Something new every year. Next comes the Veritas Router Plane with fence.

I like 11 TPI for cutting tenons, especially large tenons. Goes much faster than using a dovetail saw.
    Bumbling forward into the unknown.

An excellent and under-represented tool in most shops.
Mine has made fitting tenons (as in making cabinet doors)
and dadoes (for shelves) much simpler, and repeatable.

It's an excellent tool, but sharpening the small cutters is essential.

I believe PWW had an article that demonstrated how to properly square
the blade, but putting raised blocks on either side of the sharpening stone
    to get the edge squared.
