What's It? Saw set?

We went through everything at dad's auction, I thought this sold to one of my brothers. After a couple weeks break we are getting the leftovers ready for a garage sale. I saw this and am purchasing it from my mom for $1. I think it must be some type of saw set but really have no idea. It is about 5" long. What do you think?

Mose, that is a saw swage. You put it on a tooth and hit it with a hammer to widen the tooth. I have only seen it used on a sawmill circular saw and not for a few decades either.

Thank you Warren; at one time my dad had a saw mill so that would make sense.
