    Zebrawood fretless

Let's go ahead with the specs : 5 string , 35" scale , ebony finger board , Black Walnut and maple neck thru design , body is veneer grade Zebrawood , 1.4" thick , passive electronics , my own pickup , Franquette Walnut pickup cover and volume/gone controls , black Hioshot ultralite tuners . The only thing that's holding me up is the bridge that will be hand made also . I'm considering a Watco Danish Oil finish on this on as it's for me and I love the classy looks of oil .

LOVE that zebrawood!! It is my wife's favorite but I've never worked it.
    Wood: a fickle medium....

Did you know SMC is user supported? Please help.

Very nice! The oil should really bring out the beauty of the woods.

Did you drill for the pickup to control cavity wiring yet? Or are you making the control cavity large enough to access the pickup pocket? Any pictures of the back?

    re: finish
In my opinion, I would do Truoil before Watco danish oil. I've used Truoil a lot on necks, and even on bodies a couple of times, and I've always been very happy with the results. I've never really been impressed with Watco Danish oil.
