Sharpening ?: Pedestal Grinder & a Wolverine Jig

I don't really have a lot of extra floor space to put another bench/table. Has anyone mounted a wolverine jig to a pedestal grinder? My thought is to mount a square of wood large enough to mount the jig between the grinder and the pedestal (thinking of two sheets of 3/4 ply screwed together).

Anyone done this? Any other methods work for anyone?

    Thanks in advance!

That is exactly how mine is set up. I have some large hooks screwed into the bottom of the plywood and hang the jig and some measuring jigs, though since I changed to a CBN wheel they are not used as much.
