Making my shaving brush handle today

After mowing the yard today and maybe a few other things depending on SWMBO I am making my brush handle today. I just finished the drawing. It will have a magnet in the end for hanging. What do you think? You probably have until about noon to voice your opinion, after that it will be a done deal.

What kind of wood and where did you get the knot?

Looks good, Moses. Like the magnet in the base. What are you planning to affix the magnet to? I just put a screw in the top of my bathroom cabinet, but the wife didn't love that. She got used to it, though.

I am ordering a bowl from Amazon this week sometime and will set the bowl on a shelf in my bath cabinet and put a screw about centered in the shelf above the bowl for the brush to stick to. That will keep my wife happy I think.
