Definitely not pine of any kind. That looks like the black cherry that grows here in Florida. Sometimes the heart wood is light colored and skinny, just like that. The bark looks just like that.

I've got a couple half logs of Bradford Pear that size. Local tree trimmer says they were planted prolifically by landscapers in the 70s and are now growing too big to support themselves, so branches begin breaking off. That looks ugly, so folks just cut down the whole tree and and put it by the roadside for needy woodturners!
