Coral Iperject 50 dust extractor, any good?

one of a local electrical component manufacturing business wants to get rid of their spare dust/fume extractor, its a Coral Iperjet 50, 3KW unit, date of manufactur 2006, cartridge filter.

the guy wants $150 USD for it, the business bought a whole lot of machinery and this one was too small for their need and therefore was never installed.

It is in dismantled state and no one knows if its working, one of the duct going into the unit measures 12inch + in diameter.

I am thinking its more of a fume extractor than a dust/shaving extractor... therefore not good for woodworking?

$150 is a steal for that extractor but it really looks more suited to welding fume collection than woodworking.

    Coral makes great stuff otherwise.
