    Newing Hall Apex Engraver problems

I am not sure if this is the place, but I have been having a problem that I have not been able to figure out. My engraver has been over-running the edges of the letters. At first I thought it was a dragging cutter, but it is not. I thought it was a bad cutter, new cutter still does the same thing. Does anyone have any ideas what to look for next?

Whew finally figured it out. The cord got in the way of the spindle arm and burned thru the cable. New serial cable installed, tests running, but so far looks good. Thanks all
