Has anyone turned Pech wood? I've turned fruit cherry, apple and pear. But I just got a truck load of Peach wood. going to turn some tonight.

Very pretty and hard wood. Loves to split like any fruitwood. Buy a new gallon of endseal--sounds like a good haul.
Ditto what Robert said. I got some recently that split on me very fast, and it was some old/dead wood. Best to get the pith out ASAP and even rough turn and seal or turn thin and still put in a paper bag with shavings for a few days before trying to do final sanding and finish. Wood is pretty.
Love it, wish I could get more. It will split some but seemed pretty stable once turned... I got a fair bit from a friends woodpile and made some nice little bowls, a few turned kind of oval once done It takes detail really nice and is fairly tough so you can turn it pretty thin if you're so inclined.
Love it! It turns well, has the look of cherry and smells much better.
