    lost the "edit" capability

I've been editing an article in the author's forum but when I logged on this evening, I don't get any edit button. I AM logged in, with my name showing at the top as "welcome Paul Hinds"

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

LATER: OK, in THIS post, I get the edit button.

The editing function only lasts for a period of time (24 hours?). After that, you need a mod to re-open it.

Oh. Thanks. I thought it stayed open on the articles forum because that's where you draft out the articles. I guess everybody here is speedy enough to finish their articles in a day or two but I'm too slow for that

Paul, you should be able to edit your article until it is ready to be published. When I put together an article, after 24 hours I was also locked out. I sent a PM to Keith and was able to edit my article uninterrupted until it was ready for publication.
