Hawaii island declares emergency over volcano threat

My wife was born and raised in Volcano. In 1965 or so I watched Hale Mau Mau erupt for about a year. It is an experience one never forgets.

It is interesting as this current flow from Pu'o'o vent is going in a different direction as its previous flows. I feel for the people who will have to move.
