Wiring an old Grizzly G1023

Tried to see if someone had already asked/answered this question but I did not find it. Apologies if this has been done before.

Trying to help a buddy reassemble an old Grizzly G1023 Cabinet Saw. Pretty sure it has a new-ish motor and switch but everything has been sitting in boxes for about ten years, so...

The motor has four wires coming out of it. Black, Red White & Green. Obviously the green is the ground.

The replacement switch has three wires coming out of it (going back to the old motor), just black, red and green. It runs on to a 3-wire plug.

There's no model number on the motor, weirdly, but it's a 3HP, 1Phase, 3450RPM, 18A motor that says Grizzly KH on it--possibly meant for another machine because I had to adapt it to the table saw bracket.

The switch is a Taian HNFB-16KK that looks like it belongs on a Grizzly Table saw.

Any help is appreciated!

Is the motor 3 phase? The wiring diagram on page 57 shows 3 wires(black, green, red) for single phase and 4 wires (add white) for 3 phase. Check the motor plate to verify. Also no capacitor hump is a giveaway.

If I uploaded these two images correctly, you can see the motor is Single-Phase only, capacitor start, etc.

Looks similar to the mount from the 3hp shaper. I wounder if the white is used to reverse the direction.

The G1023 manual shows three wires out of the motor being connected. If all the 1023 manuals, the only one that shows fours wire out of the motor being connected is the 3-phase. Page 47, http://cdn0.grizzly.com/manuals/g1023s_m.pdf

I think this motor was intended for something reversible, like a shaper, and not a table saw. Hence the bracket adapter and all. I wired up the black, red, and green to the switch and gave it a quick try. The motor is definitely working. I just have to confirm it's turning the right way! lol
