Birch Burl hollow form. This came out of a burl given to me by brother in law a couple years ago. It was an odd shaped off cut with a bark inclusion so I tried to use as much of the wood as I could. This is what I ended up with, 4.25" X 4.50" with Minwax Antique Oil and 3 wheel buff. I was sort of going for a southwestern style but fear I missed the mark due to the limits of the blank. C & C welcomed.
Call me Jim, James seems so stuffy.

The second photo says a lot about your using all the available wood. Shape is a little different, but still makes a nice display piece.
