    I would call that being a resourceful ww'er and not lazy, since most all pumps I've seen have that function built in to the handle.
    Maybe I'll keep a cheap 6" f clamp in my car from now on for those annoying broken ones!

    Cool...but I'm thinking one of those spring clamps might be a tad easier.

    This one was broken!

  6. I just jam my gas cap in there to keep it pumping. It seems to fit perfectly into every pump I have used. And I no longer feel bad about breaking the little plastic tether they use to prevent people from losing their caps. It really comes in handy during the winter!
