    End tables

    I just thought I would share these end tables I have been working on. The top was cut from a slab of Madre Cacao. I am finishing the tops with waterlox and like the product the bases are milk paint with a coat of wipe on poly for protection.

    Nice job! Those tops will give an interesting contrast with the "shabby chic" bases!

    half blinds

    I should have included the picture of the dovetails ..This was my first attempt to use hand cut half blind dovetails on a project im pleased with how they turned out and they add a nice look to the drawer sides. I know not everybody is a fan of the shabby chic paint jobs but my wife is a huge fan and the tables match our décor well . Remember Happy Wife Happy Life getting closer to another project...
