Tool Chest #2: Now getting some trays
And a carry-all tote. Tool Chest #1 had a full length tote. Carried a lot of things, but as just a bit too long to sit ON the bench. New tote for #2 is a bit shorter, and a little widerIMAG0185.jpgAs for them handles sticking up? Well, Ihad a few long, skinny chisels I wanted to stash in the chest. Had a strip of Pine scrap. Sat it on the rail that holds the tote. Needed it low enough the lid would clear the tops of the handles. SoIMAG0187.jpgI left a space behind this new rack. Seems there is a rack of Brace bits down below, too. There is enough room to reach them as well. Lid will close, tooIMAG0186.jpg
With all this construction going on, even getting some pieces for the right-hand trays, things are getting a bit messy in the "basement"

As for the wider chisels? Well, they tend to stay up out of the way..
