    Bandsaw issue

    I have a Grizzly 555 bandsaw. Just put on a new 1/2" blade and aligned everything. The blade is rubbing on the guard on the lower left side of the machine. It is a plastic channel the runs on the left side of the machine between the two wheels. There doesn't seem to be any adjustment on the channel. Has anyone ever had this issue before?

    I have the same saw and have not had this problem. I will look at my saw this morning and see if I have any ideas. Will get back to you.

    Maybe you need fine tune up, re adjust the guard and put proper tension.

    Probably fluttering in the channel. Tension isn't right.
