Need some help --General Finishes Amr-Seal

Well I goofed on the first coat and got the streaks from rubbing to hard. I have buffed with a 0000 buffing pad but can still see the streaks. I am reluctant to use 320grit sand paper as they suggest since this is just the first cost and I do not want to mess up the dye I applied for color.

    Suggestions??

    Thanks

Not to worry George, just add a couple more coats. I never sand after the first coat if there's dye underneath; it's just asking for trouble. The streaks will go away on their own as long as you apply uniform coats. To do that, I use a blue shop paper towel or microfiber cloth. Load it up pretty well with Arm-R-Seal straight from the can, no thinning, and flow it on from one end to the other. Don't keep going back over it. Just get it on as smooth as you can and move on. It will self level in a couple of minutes, and what doesn't will get fixed with the next coat. Scuff sand after you've got 2 or 3 coats on, and apply 1 or 2 more. It should look pretty darned good after 4 or 5 coats.
