    First cribbage board

    This is my first cribbage board. 1/4 sawn sycamore and has peg storage on one end.

    Nice work. It takes a lot of patience and attention to drill all those holes so accurately. I love the look of nicely crafted sycamore.

    Nice work. All the holes look lined up perfect. Did you drill with a regular twist drill bit and a drill press?

    Thanks for all the great compliments.

    I used a twist bit on the drill press. I secured the template on the first won with clamps and that worked so so. Second one I used HD double faced tape and that worked much better. There was a little more sanding around the foles but it kept the area under the DP quill more clear. I have ordes for 2 more so I am going to make 2 extra. ANother one in sycamore, 1 in spalted hackberry and 2 in siberian elm.
