Do you buy veneer on eBay?

I've never done any veneer work, but sure do love the "pop" that special wood has, so i've been thinking about trying some veneer work on small boxes. As a result of this thread, i started a dialog with Paul Hinds (Post #6) who dug into his personal stock and put together an assortment for me to get my feet wet. Box arrived on Friday, my wife and i opened it last night--WOW!! I understand from Paul that his stock is all cut to a little more than 12", but it's perfect for a flat rate box and a LOT of veneer fits in that box.

Not to hijack the thread, but just wanted to give a shout-out to Paul for some beautiful wood and a great deal for a fellow Creeker. What started out to be a few questions on how to get started ended up being an excellent transaction. Thanks Paul!!
