Question Searching...Portable Saw mill in Wisconsin???

My friend has two beech trees he cut and is looking for a portable saw mill in the Pound, WI area. I told him that I'd check with SMC for professionals in that part of the state. Please let me know if there is a good sawer he could call.

He has two 60' trees - about 24-30" diameter at the base.

    Thanks,

    Jon

    Well you could try this?

I was looking for sawmills in Iowa.
The Department of Natural Resources for the state of Iowa.
Had a list of all known operating sawmills in the state listed.
I found it by using Google "Sawmills in Iowa".
Wisconsin has lots more timber, so I would be surprized if they did not have such a list.

    woodmizer.com

I think they list owners by location on their site.

Not familiar with where Pound, WI is located? I can give you the name of a sawyer that did some lumber for me. He does [or did travel] around the state, but he lives in the Dells. I haven't talked to him in almost two years, though I know he is still around.

    PM me if you're interested.
